This is NOT a remote opportunity. We are in need of local, on-site Project Managers.

F.C. Dadson is a Retail and Commercial Casework manufacturer seeking a Project Manager in our Fixture Division.  We specialize in designing, engineering, fabricating, fulfilling, and installing retail environments, kiosks, and merchandising displays that meet our end user’s needs.  F.C. Dadson is looking to hire confident, self-driven individuals that work well in a team environment and on individual projects.  We are a small, family-owned company that values its people and the culture we’ve grown.

As a member of our Project Management team, you are expected to effectively work with our clients, general contractors, and other outside vendors on multiple projects in various locations, simultaneously. 

Essential Functions       

  • Customer service driven.  Must work effectively with a diverse client and customer base in the franchise and corporate markets.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills with the ability to consistently prioritize and follow-up on all ongoing projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with external and internal clients.
  • Able to review and understand architectural blueprints or have the initiative to achieve this skill.
  • Must be a highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable professional who can work both independently and within interdepartmental groups.
  • Consistently track and report on project milestones, provide status reports, and deliver shipping instructions including verification of site offload conditions.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate project timeline for each project.
  • Ensure the on-time completion of project work plans and revisions when needed.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure each project remains on time and on budget.
  • Review deliverables prepared by each departmental team before passing to the client.
  • Review, approve and validate pay applications and invoices.
  • Determine appropriate revenue recognitions, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for projects.
  • Accurately forecast revenue.
  • Assure project legal documents are completed and signed.

Job Requirements

  • 2-4 years of transferable work experience or schooling in Business, Project Management, or a related field is required. A combination of experience and education is also acceptable.
  • Knowledge and experience in Construction or Cabinetry is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software is strongly preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Most of the time will be spent in a standard office setting at a desk for long periods of time.
  • May work around chemicals, biohazards, fumes and electrical or mechanical hazards.
  • Will need to climb, stoop, or kneel, and be exposed to machinery and heavy equipment.
